Abstract:In SAW filter design, it is necessary to develop a model of one port resonator for circuit simulation. In this paper, the method of constructing SAW one port resonator model based on ADS linear array model is proposed, and the key parameters for this model are derived. A SAW band pass filter example with center frequency of 1 GHz,bandwidth of 30 MHz, insertion loss of as low as 4.0 dB, and 30 dB side lobe suppression has been designed based on new one port resonator model. Design processes show that it is simple and maneuverable for the design of SAW filter using new model.
