Abstract:An eight way waveguide power divider structure was presented.The power divider ratio was achieved with the E plane T junction structure. By turning the depth,width and gradient at the size of the smallest waveguide,the input impendence was matched and the two way output power amplitude and phase were at a same level. Finally the eight way w band waveguide power divider was realized by the concatenation of E plane T junction. By adding 90 degrees, the consistency of the plane of the input and output ports were achieved;also the joined of the structure of 135 degree twist connectors made the structure more compact.Using HFSS simulation showed that the structure could work in the bandwidth of 88~90 GHz with the S21~S91 between -8.8 dB and -9.4 dB,and the S11 less than -18.5 dB,displaying very good performance.
