RF switch is widely used in various military electronic systems as a key device in microwave communication system. This paper particularly introduces a design of pin diode single pole double throw (SPDT) switch. The test results show that the switch has the features of frequency range of 2~8 GHz, insertion loss of less than 2.2 dB and isolation of more than 70 dB.
