    摘要:

    该文介绍了一种低频保偏光纤声光移频器的设计、制作、性能参数及典型应用。采用双晶体反向级联设计,将两片晶体工作频率的差值作为器件的移频频率,避免了单片声光晶体难以实现低频声光移频的问题。样品获得的性能参数为:工作波长1 053 nm,移频频率10 MHz,插入损耗3.3 dB,光上升时间33 ns,输出偏振态线偏振。

    Abstract:

    The design, fabricating, performance perameters and typical application of a polarization maintaining fiber coupled acoustoopticl frequency shifter (AOFS) for low frequency shifting is introduced in this paper. The doublecrystal reversecascading design method, i.e. the difference values between the operating frequencies of two AO crystals is used as the frequencyshifting frequency, is used to overcome the problem that a single crystal is difficult to achieve low frequency shifting. The performance parameters of the sample are as followa: working wavelength of 1 053 nm, frequency shift of 10 MHz, insert loss of 3.3 dB, rise time of 33 ns and linear polarization output.
