Targeting at the specific application of wireless sensor node in the field of cultural relics preserving, a new power control strategy is proposed based on the analysis of stateofart node design solutions, and the energy efficient wireless monitoring sensor is designed and realized by employing STM8 microprocessor and Si4432 wireless transceiver chip. The numerical results show that the proposed design solution and power control strategy can meet the low power consumption requirements of cultural relics preserving applications.
