BaO-B2O3-SiO2 glass ceramics were prepared by solid state reaction. Effect of B2O3 content on the properties of BaO-B2O3-SiO2 glass ceramics was concretely studied. Thermal, mechanic and electric properties of the glass ceramics were measured, the phase and microstructure evolution of the glass ceramics were characterized by XRD and SEM. The results showed that: Improving B2O3/SiO2 ratio to promote liquid phase sintering could effectively lower the sintering temperature and affect phase composition. But B2O3 content was too high or too low would damage the mechanic properties of the materials, lower bending resistance. Thermal expansion coefficient and dielectric constant decreased with increasing the content of B2O3. Final glass ceramics preparation was obtained with excellent dielectric properties, the thermal expansion coefficient was 17.87 μ℃-1 and the bending strength was 175 MPa.
